Last October Euro grues, together with Alezen joined and consolidated the team with Stafford Soima, and traveled to Munich (Germany) to participate in the 33rd edition of BAUMA , the world’s most important trade fair for machinery and equipment for construction and mining.
Soima was founded in Viseu, Portugal in 1977, but it was not until 1980 that it began to exclusively manufacture tower cranes, including hammer, flat top and self-erecting cranes. And in 2021, Stafford Soima became part of the US-based Stafford Crane Group (SCG). Thereafter, several new models of Stafford Soima tower cranes are being developed based on the decades of experience of SCG in the rental industry, including new luffer and flat top cranes. Today, from its modern factory in Canas de Senhorim, Portugal, Soima has an annual production capacity of 400 tower cranes.
